The Conference Call Specialist is responsible for performing all Spanish telephonic interpretations and outsourcing and monitoring rare language calls. To ensure accuracy and avoid discrepancies the conference call specialist is responsible for checking all Language Service department new referrals and conference call logs submitted by telephonic interpretation vendors. Conference call specialists will assist schedulers and out bounder by performing Spanish telephonic interpretations they received to minimize the use of outsourced vendors. In addition to this, conference call specialists are responsible in handling any real-time issues and maintaining communication with the client when needed.
Job Title: Conference Call Specialist
Reports to: Area Director of Operations
- Averages 500 inbound calls and 952 outbound calls per month
- Performs and average of 13 telephonic interpretations per day
- Reviews an average of 5 conference call logs a day
- Reviews an average of 40 translations new referrals daily
- Address all departmental emails
- Assist other coworkers
- Address any issues that may arise in the assigned areas
- Must be Fully Bilingual (English, Spanish)
- Strong language skills
- Knowledge of legal or medical terminology
- Ability to multitask and prioritize
- Must have excellent communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
