- Understand and discuss common terms used when using language services including statistics and cost. Define interpretation vs. translation
- Recognize the various types of language services and how to best accommodate for the needs of the injured workers
- Define the role of the interpreter and translator to meet the needs of a non-English speaking injured worker to assure they are informed and comprehend processes and expectations
- Understand the rules around providing language services, including details of culture, age, religion, and other factors that might impact understanding
