Summary:

The Physical Medicine Confirmation Specialist is an entry-level position responsible for making outbound phone calls to confirm attendance of Physical Medicine and Home Health appointments.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Complete all phone calls confirming attendance of home health and physical medicine appointments.
  • Effectively communicate with internal and external customers to ensure that all referral needs are met promptly, inclusive of recurring treatment and services.
  • Consistently work with attention given to specific carrier/patient customer preferences, guidelines, and contractual service level agreements.
  • Follow internal escalation process when service agreements or customer satisfaction is at risk.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Skills and Expertise:

  • 1 year experience in an outbound call center
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent computer and Microsoft Office Suite Skills preferred
  • Ability to provide outstanding Customer-centric service.
  • Adaptable to working independently and in a team environment

Education Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.

  • Utilizes fluorescent lighting; noise level is moderate. For the most part ambient room temperatures, lighting and traditional office equipment as found in a typical office.
