Summary:

The Home Health Confirmation Specialist is an entry-level position responsible for making outbound phone calls to confirm attendance of Home Health appointments.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Complete all phone calls confirming that home health appointments have been attended.
  • Effectively communicate with internal and external customers to promptly meet all referral needs, including systematic treatment and services.
  • Consistently works with attention to specific carrier/patient customer preferences, guidelines, and contractual service level agreements.
  • Follows internal escalation process when service agreements and customer satisfaction is at risk.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Skills and Expertise:

  • 1-year experience in an outbound call center
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent computer and Microsoft Office Suite Skills preferred
  • Demonstrates effective people skills and compassion when dealing with others
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment

Education Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.

  • Utilizes fluorescent lighting; noise level is moderate. For the most part ambient room temperatures, lighting and traditional office equipment as found in a typical office.
